Mechanism of Action:
Cypermethrin acts as a neurotoxin by interfering with the nerve cells of insects, specifically by disrupting the function of sodium channels. This disruption leads to prolonged opening of voltage-gated sodium channels, causing hyperexcitability in the nervous system and resulting in tremors and other neurological symptoms.
Application:
Spraying: Cypermethrin can be mixed with water and sprayed onto foliage, soil, or surfaces.
