Reogold contains Mesosulfuron-methyl, florasulam, and MCPA are used in wheat to control a broad spectrum of weeds, including both grassy and broadleaf types. Mesosulfuron-methyl targets annual grasses, florasulam controls many broadleaf weeds, and MCPA manages broadleaf weeds by mimicking a plant hormone. Together, they provide comprehensive, post-emergence weed control for healthier crops and improved yields. Target Weeds Wild oat, canary grass, annual bluegrass, Cleavers, chickweed, mayweed, thistles and other weeds.

Mode of Action:

Mesosulfuron-methyl Inhibits the enzyme acetolactate synthase (ALS), disrupting amino acid synthesis and causing weed death. florasulam Inhibits the biosynthesis of branched-chain amino acids, leading to the suppression and death of weeds. It is systemic, meaning it travels through the plant. Mcpa isooctyl Mimics the plant growth hormone auxin, causing uncontrolled growth and death in susceptible plants. It is absorbed through the leaves and translocated to the plant’s growing points.

Application Guidelines:

The application method involves mixing the herbicides (mesosulfuron-methyl, florasulam, and MCPA isooctyl) with water and applying them as a foliar spray to actively growing wheat from the 2 to 6-leaf stage. A common recommendation is to mix 400 ml of the 25% OD formulation in 120 liters of water and spray it per hectare. Ensure weeds are also actively growing for optimal results.
