Mode of Action:

Tiphos is typically applied at a rate of 500ml per acre, dissolved in 100-120 liters of water.

Application Guidelines:

This is a pre-emergent herbicide that primarily inhibits cell division and root development in weeds. It prevents the formation of new cells, particularly in the roots and shoots, effectively stopping weed growth before it can emerge from the soil or at an early stage.
Acetochlor:
Another pre-emergent herbicide, Acetochlor, also targets shoot and root growth. It disrupts the normal development of these parts, preventing weeds from establishing themselves in the crop.
Oxyfluorfen:
This is a contact herbicide, meaning it works by direct contact with plant tissue. It disrupts cell membranes, causing damage and leading to the death of the targeted weeds. This is particularly effective against broadleaf weeds and some grasses.
